This storyteller's story could be long and rambling (as most stories are), but the abridged edition begins when I worked in video production within a corporate office. My exposure to creative teams overseeing the company's marketing and communications inspired me to pursue an undergrad in Public Relations.
My passion for creating compelling and effective communications strategies and campaigns was ignited and has continued to this day. While locked down in the COVID19 pandemic, I added to my Communications education by attending Royal Roads University and completing a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communications Management and then completed a Master in Arts (Professional Communications) in early 2023.
I have worn numerous hats throughout my career including: freelance writer, communications officer, marketing director, fundraising lead, video producer/editor, graphic designer, event coordinator, issues manager, consultant, and now, entrepreneur.
My career experience does not end at the threshold of the marketing and communications world though, I also worked extensively in the Food and Beverage industry, and co-owned a family business. All of these experiences give me a big picture perspective and a holistic outlook on implementing and evaluating communications and marketing strategies, tactics, and products to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
My goal is to offer affordable high-end yet small-scale communications solutions for small businesses and non-profit organizations in the Cowichan Valley.
